Table Textiles

Textiles may be having a moment this summer, but this is not a fad. Research (Good ole Google) shows that decorating a table with textiles has been a staple in home decor for centuries. The earliest known reference to a tablecloth dates back to around 100 AD mentioned by the ancient Latin Spanish poet Martial!

You may choose to keep your table surface bare and highlight its shape, material, or wood grain. Or you can choose to personalize the setting with a fabric that speaks to your style.

Soft, layered fabrics not only protect surfaces but also add visual interest.

Straight and minimal? Or colourful and intricate? What will you choose to express your unique taste?

Variations in textures and shades can exude warmth and comfort, or reflect a clean, refreshing ambiance!

Layer textiles to create interest and depth at your table—mix different materials and patterns with runners, tablecloths, placemats, and napkins. This simple effort can convey a sense of care and attention to detail, which won't go unnoticed by those around the table.
